I swear i'm right! i swear i knew it all along!

So it's been a while since i last posted something on my own personal blog so i thought i'd take this chance to update all you fine people out there on what is going on with me. So I have been accepted into the Elementary Education program on the conditions that #1 i get a 150 or better of the praxis 2 test that I had to take last Saturday. (it was at 7:30 in the morning and i didn't get out of there till near 10!) #2 I have to get B's or better in all 5 of the classes i am taking right now. Normally that would not be such a big deal but... I've had mono since October and have been as sick as a dog. Therefore missing many classes and if i'm not at school or WORKING I have had no energy to do any of the numerous projects that I've been assigned. But be not afraid, somehow I am getting it done. little by little of course. I've had to talk to a few of my teachers to explain my absences. You see I finally went to the doctor just two weeks ago. I hate going to the doctor, and i feel like i'm always sick. So i thought it was just something that was going to go away. Oh but i was wrong.

Also I'm dating a boy, his name is Paul. Yes it is true family. I know most of you heard that we had broken things off, but IT'S BACK ON! haha and he'll be coming home with me for Thanksgiving so be nice! Nicole and Josh that statement is more towards you two! You vicious siblings.. I love my family. and I am so excited to go home! It's definitely long overdue. I haven't been back since i left in July. And some family members are too lame to come visit me while I'm down here going to school so i haven't seen anyone but my mom since July. Oh thats not true Devin came down, and i was able to see him for a few hours before he headed back to Logan, to see his friends.. Boo that. But oh well I can't wait to be home and to spend time with the family. Oh get this. Mom told me i should pick up shifts while i'm home for Thanksgiving. Now don't ya'll agree that that would be a very very poor choice. I can't just leave my boyfriend with my strange family who he is just now meeting. and if I'm going to be working half the time anyways i might as well just stay here.. No point driving 8 hours and spending money on gas if i'm just going to go work! why are you so crazy sometimes mother?

It's going to be a good month

So I just had my 21st birthday! wow am I getting old! Just kidding I don't really think that. Anyways the birthday was fun. Me and a group of my friends went to St. George and then on to Vegas! It was so much fun and the guy i'm currently dating (Paul) he went as well. NOt only that but crazily we have the same birthday. How weird is that. So yeah it was a party and it was hard coming back to utah just to go back to school and work.. Boo
But i did get to come back to a most awesome gift! G-Ma got me a computer! she is the best G-Ma ever. But to be honest today is the first day i have been able to use it. This is because i do not have the internet in my apartment and it is really hard for me to do anything without it. isn't it crazy how things have changed over the years. I remember only ever needing to use a computer when my teacher decided they wanted a paper we were writing typed. That was all through grade school. Those were the days. I wish i could be seven again!
Anyways I am excited for November because that means i get to go home for thanksgiving and i get to see my family!! Yay!! I miss them so so so much. I feel pretty much alone out here without my family. It's strange how things can become such a big part of your life without you realizing it. Because during high school i would have never thought that things were this way. I meanh I've always have loved my family and love spending time with them. But now i'd just rather be with them always than with anyone else or doing anything else. As
Amy would say i've finally grown up. haha. but this is false because i grew up a long time ago. I had to. I just had my priorities a little off wack.
So yes i am excited for November and soon i will be excited for Christmas and we all know me. I will be busting out the Christmas decorations the day after thanksgiving!! woot woot.

It's definitely broken

So I went and saw Devin and Amy Thursday. It was great seeing them again. I love my family so much. And Baby Presleigh is getting so big! well while we were there Amy and Wayne went to go get some pizza from little caesars and left Presleigh with Devin and I. I was holding her as I was working on some homework on the computer and she kept grabbing for the mouse and the keyboard. So I thought if I gave her my phone it would keep Her occupied. It definitely did. She sucked and sucked on that thing. At first i didn't think much of it because I know Amy always lets her suck on her phone. but after awhile I thought maybe i should give my phone a break. So I took it from her and replaced the phone with a spoon which kept Presleigh completely content. Well I started wiping off my phone, I opened it and the inside was completely covered in Presleigh's Drool. It was so wet! It was bad. The most important part of this story however is not that Presleigh got all her drool all over my phone, because i don't really care too much about that, but it is that now the screen of my phone does not work... Because of the "water damage" from Little Baby Presleigh.

So I get into my car this morning to go to school and duh duh duh nah my car wont start. My roommates have already left and my phone wont even turn on at this point. So I am stuck at my place while I am suppose to be in my class. I finally get my phone to turn on and I can only call two certain people because i have their numbers memorized. It was horrendous and very disheartening. I also couldn't email my teachers because I don't have a computer. So i missed a quiz in My class as well as turning in a project.

Hair Cut

So i was watching the vma's sunday night and Pink's performance was amazing. But more so than her performance her hair style caught my eye. I fell in love with it! so much so that i made an appointment and i am cutting my hair this saturday. But because it is such a dramatic hair cut i would like your opinion. Do ya'll think i could pull it off? I realize it's a bit out there, and that before this i was so set on growing my hair out long. So i went online to find a cute picture of Pink's hair but couldn't find one. Luckily i found a different picture of pretty much the same hair style that i love.

It's all coming together.

So i finally got things figured out. I got into the two classes that are on the Orem campus rather than the one in Heber city. Which would have been a fourty minute drive. And in the winter? I don't think so. So i have 7 classes. one of which is an institute class. It's Doctrine and Covenants and i love it already. Another one is a dance conditioning class. An hour and a half every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 in the morning... Everyone knows i am definitely not a morning person so ya'll can only imagine how thats going. No it's actually going quite well but i am sore, especially my abs. It's all become worse too because i'm getting sick, therefore whenever i need to caugh it shakes my abs and i want to cry. Anyways the other five classes are all the prerequisites to my program. Which i will be getting into in the winter and after that i only have four semesters left and.. dun da da daaaa i'm a teacher! neato huh!
